Serial-level inventory

FFL Inventory Management Software

BoundStack uses the firearm record as the link between inventory status and A&D history. The operational inventory view and the record history come from the same account-scoped data instead of two unrelated lists.

Best Fit

Small FFL teams that want serial-number search, inventory status, source context, and disposition history in one application.

Evaluation Rule

Test this workflow with representative records and current requirements. Product output is evidence to review, not a legal conclusion.

Implemented Scope

  • Track firearm identity and status by serial number.
  • Link acquisition sources to manually verified FFL contacts.
  • Separate in-stock and disposed records without losing history.
  • Connect eligible Pro sales workflows to inventory dispositions.

Inventory is not the whole record

A stock count answers what is currently on hand. The associated record history answers how each firearm entered the account and, when applicable, how it left. BoundStack keeps those views connected while leaving record review under dealer control.

Reconciliation checklist

Test duplicate serial handling, disposed-record editing rules, inventory totals, source contact links, and CSV totals. Investigate every mismatch instead of assuming the dashboard count proves the underlying record is complete.

FAQ

Does a POS sale update inventory?

A completed Pro POS transaction can record a linked firearm disposition. The dealer should still review the resulting record and transaction details.

Does BoundStack verify an FFL contact automatically?

No. External registry lookup is not configured. Contacts are entered manually and should be checked against an authoritative source.
